Transforming Communities

Christ’s love compels us to demonstrate His love
through a variety of compassion projects.
These projects bring hope to the discarded,
healing to the hurting and empower the oppressed.

Community Development & Compassion Projects

We believe that as the salt of the earth [Matthew 5:13], we are responsible to positively transform our communities. We do this through various programs: adult literacy classes, AIDS awareness programs, free schools for village children, endowments of agricultural tools, mother/child educational programs to reduce infant mortality, medical camps, raising up abandoned children, leadership training, discipleship, literature, developing indigenous church planters, educating tribal children, leading community development work, providing emergency relief, rehabilitation outreaches and other areas when we can serve.

IET’s workers are reaching out to millions of people through evangelism, discipleship, training, vocational training, education and much more.

Natural Disaster Relief

Our established network of indigenous leaders provides us the ability to quickly discern where the greatest needs arise and mobilize into relief teams to ensure aid is distributed to those most in need.

IET is uniquely positioned to provide disaster relief assistance to the region of South East Asia. As a Christian ministry, our purpose is to be a community of faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who will strive to live a life that glorifies Him in all that we are and do, we are committed and uniquely positioned to provide disaster relief assistance to affected underdeveloped regions and in the region of South East Asia.

Help us make an impact today by supporting IET in bringing hope to affected underdeveloped regions and South East Asia. You can be rest assured that each project initiative you give for or sponsor will receive your full support. We take great care to insure that all funds designated for a purpose are used exclusively for the assigned purpose. This is our commitment to you – and our Lord.

Children’s Homes

IET operates children’s homes in various parts of the region. Abandoned, orphaned or extremely poor children under threat of being sold into slavery are loved and raised up to fulfill their passions and destiny. The children receive basic physical needs, including lodging, food and basic school tuition. In addition to the educational and physical needs, IET meets the spiritual needs of the children.

Widow Care

In parts of South East Asia, a widow is seen as cursed. They are often shunned from community and at times even discarded by their family. Abandonment or poverty accompanies most of them who are unable to take care of themselves.

IET ministries provide basic food and clothes to widows, to let them live a life of dignity and self worth.

Our genuine widow care also opens doors for us to share the message of Christ’s love.

Medical Ministry

Many villagers in underdeveloped regions are not aware of basic hygiene practices and have no access to medical care.

IET sends trained nurses and doctors to provide hygiene awareness, education on immunization, conduct surgery camps and provide general medical care.

In any nation, it is the women and children who are most negatively impacted by poverty and sickness.

Around 42 million in one South East Asia nation suffer from thyroid related disorders, and women make up 60% of those affected. Goiters, or growths in the thyroid gland due to iodine deficiency, are very common in rural villages.

Village Literacy

About half of the world’s illiterate adults live in South East Asia. Most of them, women. An illiterate person belonging to a low caste is taken advantage of by money lenders and customers of their goods.

Illiteracy reduces the dignity of a person in their own eyes, keeps them in the grips of poverty, and allows them to stay oppressed. IET trained ministers conduct literacy classes in tribes and remote villages to help adults learn how to read, write and count.
